There are a number of preloaded activity profiles for running, cycling, skiing and rowing, among others, and you can view advanced training metrics for a number of sports. There are even animated workouts, so you can follow cardio, stretch, yoga and pilates moves, of which some are preloaded but others can be downloaded using the Garmin Connect online community. Mapping options are numerous, you can design routes yourself or use round-trip routing, in which you enter the distance you want to travel and the fenix will give you a number of possible options, taking all the hard work out of route planning.
